January 2026: Sky Dancers will be published by Zephyr/Bloomsbury in August 2026. A new 11+ story of dangerous enchantment and sorcery set in the 1950s and contemporary times, from Carnegie-shortlisted Chris Vick.
November 2025: Shadow Creatures, Chris’s WW2 novel of courage, folklore and resistance, has been nominated for the CILIP Carnegie medal, Britain’s oldest and most prestigious prize, for writing for young people. This is the third time one of Chris’s books has been nominated.
